1- Take 450 gms boneless chicken breast and cut it into tikka pieces.
2- For Marination:
3- 3/4 tsp Salt.
4- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder.
5- 1 tsp Coriander Powder.
6- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder.
7- 3 to 4 tbsp Whisked Curd/Yogurt.

For Tempering:-

1- 1/2 tsp Shah Jeera.
2- 3 to 4 sliced of Green Chillies.
3- 15 curry leaves.

Spice powders:-

1- Pinch Turmeric.
2- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder.
3- 3/4 tsp Coriander powder.
4- 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder.
5- 3/4 tsp roasted and crushed kasuri methi.

Other ingredients:-

1- Two medium (150 gms) chopped onion.
2- Two medium (around 140 gms) green capsicum petals.
3- Two medium (150 gms) red chopped tomatoes.
4- Paste of 12 cashews.
5- 3/4 tsp dry roasted and powdered kasuri methi.
6- 2 to 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
7- 3 to 4 tbsp oil.
8- 1/4 tsp salt for seasoning.

Preparation For Chicken Tikka Masala:-

1- Cut the chiken fillets into 1-2 inch flattish tikka pieces.
Marinate with the items specified above and set aside for 30 mins.
2- Cut the green pepper/capsicum into petals and set aside.
Also chop the onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves and slice the green chillies.
3- Prepare the cashews paste to make that,add the cashews into a grinder and grind it into a powder.Now add 3 to 4 tbsp water and blend it into a smooth paste.
4- Also dry roast kasuri methi in a pan on low heat for around 30 seconds and cool it.Once cooled, crush it lightly into a rough powder.

For Marinating The Chicken:-

1- Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp oil.Add the marinated chicken pieces side by side to hot crowd the pan.You can do in 2 batches.Will take around 5 to 6 mins, 2 to 3 mins on each side.
2- Remove the fried chicken pieces into a plate and add the ones for the 2nd batch. Repeat the same process for this batch and then add back the fried chicken pieces from the 1st batch.
3- Mix and then add the capsicum petals. Mix and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
4- Remove and set aside.

For Chicken Tikka Masala:-

1- Heat oil and the shah jeera then add the sliced green chillies and curry leaves, give a stir and then add the chopped onions.
2- Mix and fry on medium heat for 7 to 8 mins till light brown and then add the ginger garlic paste. Mix and fry on low heat for 2 mins.
3- Now add the cashew paste, the spice powders other than garam masala powder and kasuri methi.
4- Add a splash of water and mix and cook on low heat for 2 to 3 mins till oil separates.
5- Add the chopped tomatoes and a pinch of salt and mix and cook on low heat for 3 to 4 mins.
6- Now add the fried chicken and capsicum pieces and mix and fry on medium heat for 2 mins.
7- Add around 1 cup(200-225 ml) water and cover and cook on low heat for around 12 mins.
8- Now add garam masala powder and kasuri methi.Also add around 100 ml water.
9- Mix and simmer for 2 to 3 mins.
10- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
